While some businesses or events may choose to continue COVID safety precautions even as Minnesota has lifted the mask mandate, residents should still look forward to lots of ways to explore the Twin Cities responsibly. Luckily, Minnesota has adapted to the times and figured out ways to safely hold their events. Whether you explore virtually or in-person, here’s some ways to keep busy this season.

Summer Events

Twin Cities Farmers’ Markets | Search for a local farmers’ market near you on the Minnesota Grown website and when they will be opening back up for the season.

St. Paul Summer Beerfest | St. Paul’s favorite beer festival is back with sampling, live music, food, and a silenct auction and will take place July 10, 2021. (Proof of vaccination is required to attend.)

49th Twin Cities Pride Festival | The Twin Cities’ local pride festival will be held in Loring Park and take place from July 17 -18, 2021.

Stone Arch Bridge Festival | A large art festival, featuring vendor artists, culinary artists, live music, and family activities, will be taking place June 19 – 20, 2021.

Minnesota Renaissance Festival | This popular festival will be celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and will take place between August 21 – October 3, 2021. 

Minnesota State Fair | The Great Minnesota Get-Together is back and will have its usual 12 days of fun from August 26 – September 6, 2021.

Basilica Block Party | This popular music festival that helps preserve the Basilica Landmark will be taking place September 10 – 11, 2021.
